The cantral hall that is the focus of the Ho-oh-doh is 14.2 meters across its face and 11.8 meters along the side. On the top of the tile roof, a pair of phoenixes are affixed, in addition, the four corners of the roof of the central hall curve up sharply, giving the structure as a whole and air of imminent motion.
