Arashiyama, Kyoto’s leading tourist destination. It is designated as a national historic site and a scenic spot, and it has all the Kyoto-like attractions such as Togetsu-kyo bridge and Bamboo Grove. Bamboo Grove is a typical sightseeing spot in Kyoto and is a symbol of Arashiyama which is also famous and popular place around there.
Bamboo is said to be the most beautiful in the autumn, and has been selected as one of the “100 Best Sakura Places in Japan”. In early winter, Arashiyama Chochin Road is held where both sides of the bamboo grove are lit up. Bamboo groves in the night that flicker in the light are a new feature of autumn Kyoto.

It’s said that it was a place for the villa in the Heian period, but even after 1000 years from the Heian period, such as beautiful and stunning view still take us to the mysterious world.
